Last week in Thesssaloniki, Greece, United Societies of Balkans hosted the Kick Off meeting of the project "Break the Wall: Bringing non formal sports to the Youth Organizations – Wall-E" (612969-EPP-1-2019-1-EL-SPO-SSCP), a Small Collaborative Partnership funded by Erasmus+ Sport. Partners of the project are United Societies of Balkans from Greece, Champions Factory from Bulgaria, Centre du sport et de la jeunesse Corse (CSJC) from France, AICS from Italy and Social Policy and Action Organization from Cyprus.
The abuse of minors (children, adolescents) can be noticed in various and different forms that can affect them causing physical, social, mental and emotional consequences on their life. At the same time, it shatters the right to live with safety in a protected environment that can give and receive love and respect. According to the World Health Organization, sexual child violence is about the child's participation in sexual intercourse for which there is lacking of conscious understanding of the concept and content of the act.
I am Gardezi Syed Anyan Ali, but everybody calls me with my nick name, Ali-Shahgy. I am 27 years old, and I am from Kashmir, a region situated in the extreme Nord-west area of India and historically contended by India and Pakistan. I arrived in Thessaloniki as a refugee, and I felt immediately comfortable with the city and the local community since the locals here are very friendly.
This call is issued by the consortium of the project EU-VOICE, which intends to commission a contract for the provision of documentary film production services for the project itself. Both individuals and organisations are eligible under the present call.
