CHARM – Civic Help for Anti-racist Measures in Youth Work

The project "CHARM - Civic Help for Anti-Racist Measures in Youth Work" was a 24 months international project which was mainly implemented in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Spain, Poland and Lithuania. The overall aim of the project was to transform the youth work in Europe into a sphere free of harmful stereotypes and thus to insure that racism and other forms of intolerance do not exist in youth projects and activities across Europe. Some of the project activities, were research on the situation of youth work in the six countries in relation to anti-racism and human rights, training of trainers for the preparation of the following in-country training seminars, 15 in country training seminars for a wide variety of youth organizations and more 6 exchange training seminars in all partner countries. Furthermore, the most significant activities of the project were the creation of training modules on topics of anti-racism and human rights for different type of organizations and online course for youth workers around Europe.
